I am not a food critic, I am a foodie.  I haven't read what others have written (although there are links to reviews on the
site), in truth I am here for the fun and, of course, the food.

I went to Joe's with my dad and a few really good friends and their kids.  We had a blast!

We had a pile of food.  AND I tried it all!  I had the BBQ chicken pizza - which, by the way, is the best I have every had.
The chicken and sauce are usually competing for first chair on a BBQ chick pizza - but here they played nicely with all
the other kids in the sandbox - blue cheese, fresh herbs and veggies, and bacon!  Oh mama!  I want another one.

The Fontina Burger was my dad's choice and I have to say - it was a good one.

The onion wrings are as good or better than anywhere else I have every been and the sweet potato fries are worth the
up-charge!

My brother-in-law was there with me and he had the BBQ Bacon Blue Burger.  I have to laugh because during our
meal I saw him become a man!  He ate blue cheese - a true stretch for him culinarilly speaking.  I consider the
enjoying of blue cheese to be one of the mile posts on the road of life that signal that you are now an adult!  That and
getting your bank to reverse overdraft fees!

I all I would say - Joe's is awesome.  They say they do "common food done uncommonly well and served quickly."  I
say - I'll be back.

Chicken and waffle fans take notice - Joe's serves Ribs and Waffles and I am willing to bet they would rock!  Don't
take my word for it - check the menu I scanned in!

Joe's Farm Grill
Arizona in April.  Nothing could be nicer.  It's like Hawaii without all the Hibiscus
and Pineapple.  Arizona in April, good friends and really, really great food and you
have got the makings of an amazing day.  Joe's was my very first TRIPLE
DeTOUR.  What should I expect?  Will the food be as good as it looks on TV?  Will
the regulars run us tripleDfans off as unwanted intruders?  I have to be honest, I
was nervous.  I have a passion for eating at "off the beaten path" places.  I didn't
want my first official attempt at a TRIPLE DeTOUR to derail my love for the show,
the food, or (let's be honest) my website idea.

What follows is my first attempt at food commentary.  I am not a critic.  I am not
written - I hope it inspires you to buy the DVD's and the cookbook and head out
on your own TRIPLE DeTOURS.
